Video analytics platform use cases

The product is identical on all four sites. What differs is the thing that keeps setting the camera off, and that is what each page below is about.
Run it on a clip
  • One product, four yards
  • Keep the cameras you own
  • No face recognition, ever

Interior, after hours

Decoded in your browser. Your video is never uploaded.

6

Sets the luma delta threshold and the smallest region that counts.

0.4s

Kills the one frame flicker that no operator wants paged about.

Exclude zone

Put it over the road, the tree, the neighbour's window. Events inside it stop alerting.

The frame an event was found on shows up here.

01 Four sites, four different sources of noise

Every one of these sites already has cameras. All four have muted the alerts.

01

Self storage security cameras

4 to 24 cameras, one site, no security staff on the premises after 18:00.

What sets the camera off

Roller doors moving in the wind, headlights sweeping the drive aisle, and the automatic gate light cycling all night.

What you actually wanted

A person on foot in a drive aisle after closing, and a vehicle that arrives at 02:00 and stays for forty minutes.

02

Warehouse video surveillance

20 to 200 cameras, sometimes several buildings, with an operations manager who owns the alerts.

What sets the camera off

Forklifts crossing the same aisle two hundred times a shift, pallet wrap catching the light, and dock doors opening and closing all day.

What you actually wanted

A person in the yard between shifts, a trailer that moves when no one is scheduled, and a dock door open for an hour at 03:00.

03

Car dealership security cameras

8 to 40 cameras, a lot open to the road on at least one side, and stock that walks.

What sets the camera off

Traffic passing the frontage all day and all night, lot lighting on a timer, and the wash bay.

What you actually wanted

A person walking the lot at 03:00, someone under a vehicle for two minutes, and a car leaving after hours.

04

Security camera analytics for parking and property

6 to 60 cameras across entrances, lobbies, parking and bin stores, with a manager who is legally exposed if this is done carelessly.

What sets the camera off

Residents, delivery vans, the bin store, and every car that turns around in your entrance.

What you actually wanted

A package left and then taken by someone else, a person in the parking structure at 04:00, and access to a floor outside the hours anyone should be on it.

02 What does not change between them

One product. The difference is three settings and a polygon.

A dealership and a self storage site look nothing alike and generate almost the same false alerts, because the cause is the same in both: a detector that measures pixel change cannot tell a headlight from a person. Classifying the object fixes all four sites at once.

What you tune per camera is small: an exclude zone over whatever is legitimately busy and irrelevant, a minimum duration, and the classes you want to hear about. That is the whole configuration, and you can practise it in the demo before you own anything.

The cameras stay

Any ONVIF or RTSP camera, which is effectively every business camera sold in the last decade. No new hardware on any of the four sites.

The classes are the same five

person, vehicle, animal, package, other motion. What differs is which of them you want waking you up.

The price is per camera

From $8.32 to $12.25 a camera a month depending on tier, published on the pricing page, with no call.

No biometrics on any site

Categories only. That answer does not change because the building changed.

Point it at whichever yard is keeping you up.

One email address, one 6 digit code, and your console opens. Pick the tier by camera count, and run the demo on a clip of your own first.
