A Camect hub costs $649 with two months of Camect Go, $749 with one year, or $1,624 with Camect Go for the life of the hub. After the included period, Camect Go is $10 a month or $100 a year per hub. One hub handles 24 megapixels of cameras in total, so eight 4MP cameras need two hubs and fifteen need three.
That last point is the one most price comparisons skip. Camect does not charge per camera. It charges per hub, and the hub has a fixed processing budget. A home with six 1080p cameras fits on one $749 hub with room to spare. A shop or a small warehouse with 4MP cameras runs out of budget fast, and the price doubles or triples. Below are the store prices as listed today, what the subscription does, the hub arithmetic, and five year totals. We sell a detection layer for existing cameras, so the comparison at the end says plainly where Camect is the better buy.
Camect hub prices today
These are the prices on Camect's own US store. None of them shows a crossed out or sale price. Every consumer hub ships with 1TB of storage (one variant uses an SSD) and the same 24MP limit. What changes between them is how much Camect Go comes in the box.

The two pro hubs are sold only to security professionals through Camect's dealer program. The store also lists a Professional Bundle with eight variants from $450 to $1,250, but the variants do not line up with each other (a monitoring bundle priced below a plain service bundle, a $1 gap between warranty terms in one row and $200 in the next), so we left those numbers out. Ask a dealer for a written quote if you are going that route.
What Camect Go costs and what it unlocks
Without a subscription, a Camect hub keeps recording around the clock, shows video on your local network and runs its AI detection, with software updates, for life. That is Camect's own wording in its FAQ. What stops is everything that needs the internet: alerts pushed to your phone, remote viewing away from the building, and clips saved to the cloud.

The $100 a year figure comes from Camect's Camect Go page, which also still shows older hub prices ($519 and $999), so treat it as the published rate rather than a fresh quote. It does match the store: the 1 year hub costs $100 more than the 60 day hub. Subscriptions are prepaid and renew automatically at whatever the fee is at renewal, per Camect's terms. For a business the practical reading is simple. A camera system nobody gets alerts from is a recorder you check after the fact, so budget Camect Go as a running cost, not an option.
The 24MP limit that sets your real cost
Camect states that one hub supports up to 24 megapixels of total camera resolution, which it gives as twelve 1080p cameras. Its FAQ counts a 1080p camera as 2MP, a 4MP camera as 4MP and a 4K camera as 8MP. Above the budget, Camect's own suggestions are a second hub on the same network, pointing the hub at the lower resolution sub streams, or running it on only some of the cameras.

Most business cameras sold in the last few years are 4MP or higher, which is why the hub count, not the hub price, decides the bill. Camect has described larger 60MP and 96MP models in its 2023 sell sheets, but they are not in the store and have no public price. Each hub also carries its own Camect Go subscription, so a third hub adds a third $100 a year.
Five year totals for 8 and 15 cameras
Here is what Camect costs over five years at the store prices above, with Camect Go renewed each year at $100. Cameras, extra drives, tax and installation are left out. The 60 day hub plus five years of Camect Go comes to the same $1,149 as the 1 year hub plus four renewals, so we show one number.

The All-In hub only beats yearly renewals after about nine and three quarter years ($1,624 minus $749 is $875, or 8.75 more years of Camect Go), and the hub carries a one year warranty. For fifteen 4MP cameras the five year cost works out to about $230 a camera with yearly Camect Go, or $325 with All-In. That number buys recording, storage and detection in one box, which is the real case for Camect.
For comparison on the same fifteen cameras, the Blue Iris license price is $99.95 once, but business use needs its $39.95 a month commercial plan on a PC you supply, Agent DVR pricing starts at $85.86 a year per server for business use, and our Operate tier is $888 a year, or $4,440 over five years. We cost more than Camect over five years and we do not record video, so read on before you pick on price alone.
Camect for a business
Camect's consumer hubs say on every product page that they are for home security and not for professional video monitoring. Professional use goes through the Pro Service and Pro Monitoring tiers sold by dealers, which add loitering detection, a multi unit dashboard and hand off to central station software such as Immix or SureView. If a monitoring company already watches your site, ask whether it is a Camect dealer.
Camect is the better buy when you want one box that records, stores and detects, the site has up to twelve 1080p cameras, and you do not already own a recorder. It runs on site, keeps working without internet, and is cheap over five years for that size.
A detection layer fits better when you already have an NVR or a VMS that records fine and the problem is the alerts. Buying three Camect hubs to get person and vehicle alerts on fifteen cameras means paying for recording and storage you already have. Our product reads the streams your recorder pulls, classifies each event as person, vehicle, animal or package, and alerts by email, webhook or Slack. You can try it on one of your own clips in the demo above before buying. Person detection on the cameras you already own shows what the alerts look like. Landlords running cameras at several buildings, each on its own network, need one Camect hub per building anyway, and usually already track those sites in their property management software, so per building cost is the number to compare.
Questions buyers ask
How much does a Camect hub cost?
$649 with two months of Camect Go, $749 with one year of Camect Go, or $1,624 with Camect Go for the life of the hub, on Camect's US store. Each consumer hub includes 1TB of storage and supports up to 24 megapixels of cameras. Pro hubs for dealers are $749 or $1,674.
Does Camect require a subscription?
No. Without a subscription the hub records 24/7, shows video on your local network and runs AI detection for life, with updates. Remote viewing, alerts sent to your phone or email, and cloud backup of clips need Camect Go, published at $10 a month or $100 a year for all cameras on one hub.
How many cameras can one Camect hub handle?
Camect rates one hub at 24 megapixels of total camera resolution, which is twelve 1080p cameras, six 4MP cameras or three 4K cameras. Above that you add a second hub on the same network or run the hub on lower resolution sub streams. Fifteen 4MP cameras need three hubs.
Is the Camect All-In worth it?
Only if you expect to keep the hub for about ten years. All-In costs $875 more than the 1 year hub, which is 8.75 years of Camect Go at $100 a year. Over five years the 1 year hub plus four renewals totals $1,149, against $1,624 for All-In, and the hub warranty is one year.
Can a business use Camect?
The consumer hubs are labeled for home security and not for professional video monitoring. Businesses that want a monitored or dealer installed system buy Camect's Pro Service or Pro Monitoring through a Camect dealer. A business that only needs smarter alerts on cameras it already records can add a detection layer instead.
