A Bosch DIVAR IP all-in-one costs $5,166 to $9,542 for the AIO 4000 (up to 32 cameras), $8,240 to $14,957 for the AIO 6000 (up to 64) and $15,208 to $43,465 for the AIO 7000 (up to 256) at a US reseller in October 2026, depending on the drives installed. Each unit records 8 cameras out of the box. Going past 8 takes a $311 license pack that opens 32 channels.
The box is a recorder and a full Bosch Video Management System server in one: BVMS runs on it, with the management server, recording and the Operator Client included. That is why its price looks high next to a plain NVR, and why the license lines matter as much as the hardware. Below are current prices by part number from Network Camera Store, the license rules from Bosch's own knowledge base, and the arithmetic for a typical fifteen camera site.
DIVAR IP all-in-one prices by model
Prices are from networkcamerastore.com on October 25, 2026, in US dollars before tax. The last digits of each part number give the drive configuration, for example 2HD for two drives and 00N for a unit without drives.

Bosch's knowledge base gives the AIO 4000 a ceiling of 32 channels and 250 Mbit/s with up to two 18 TB drives, and the AIO 6000 64 channels and 400 Mbit/s with up to four 18 TB drives. The reseller lists the AIO 7000 at up to 256 channels and up to 216 TB in the 12 drive version. Extra drives for the 74xx units sell separately: DIP-AIO-4HDD-T $975, DIP-AIO-8HDD-T $1,415 and DIP-AIO-18HDD-T $2,592 each, so buying the populated version usually beats filling an empty chassis drive by drive.
The eight free channels and the 32 channel pack
Every DIVAR IP all-in-one ships with a free pre-licensed package of 8 channels, active from first boot. Bosch's licensing article says that to go past 8 you install a DIVAR IP specific base package, and the edition depends on the box: the AIO 4000 takes MBV-BLIT-DIP (BVMS Lite), the AIO 6000 and 7000 take MBV-BPLU-DIP (BVMS Plus). Both packages include 32 channels.

The AIO 4000 tops out at 32, so once you own MBV-BLIT-DIP there is nothing more to buy for channels. On the AIO 6000 and 7000, cameras 33 and up are standard BVMS Plus expansions at $126 each. Workstations, LPR channels, maps and privacy overlay are separate expansions on both editions. The full BVMS price list for software installs, with Professional and the SMA rules, is on our Bosch BVMS license price page.
Software assurance matters more on a DIVAR IP than people expect. Bosch states that starting with BVMS 11.0, every DIVAR IP unit upgrading to a new BVMS version needs valid software assurance. A box bought without SMA keeps recording on the version it shipped with, and a later upgrade means buying the missing years first.
Which DIVAR IP fits your camera count
The camera count picks the model for you. Up to 8 cameras, any unit works with no license spend, and the AIO 4000 with 2 x 4 TB at $6,561 is the cheapest populated option. From 9 to 32 cameras, the AIO 4000 plus the $311 Lite pack covers it. From 33 to 64 you need the AIO 6000, and past 64 the AIO 7000. Bitrate is the second check: at 250 Mbit/s the AIO 4000 handles 32 cameras at about 7.8 Mbit/s each, which is fine for 4 MP at typical settings but tight for 4K streams recording around the clock.
Storage is the third. Two 4 TB drives in a mirrored setup leave roughly 4 TB usable, which at 4 Mbit/s per camera holds about 6 days of continuous recording for 15 cameras. If your policy or insurer asks for 30 days, price the 2 x 18 TB AIO 4000 ($9,542) or the AIO 6000 with 4 x 8 TB instead. If nobody on staff wants to size bitrate, retention and redundancy, it is worth paying an independent security consultant for a few hours before the order goes in, because a wrong drive configuration is the most expensive mistake on these boxes.

The software only row shows what the DIVAR IP premium buys. On a Windows server you already own, the Lite licenses for fifteen cameras cost about an eighth of an AIO 4000 with its pack, but you supply the server, the drives, the Windows license and the patching. Sites without IT staff usually take the appliance for that reason. If you are still choosing between Bosch and another recorder, the video management software comparison prices other platforms per camera, and the Milestone Husky IVO price page covers the closest appliance rival.
Older DIVAR IP units and upgrades
If you are replacing an older box rather than buying fresh, check its family first. Bosch's licensing article says DIVAR IP 3000 units and DIVAR IP 7000 units with part numbers starting DIP-70 cannot be upgraded to BVMS 11.0. The AIO 5000 (DIP-52, 42 channels, Lite edition) and the DIP-71, DIP-72 and DIP-73 generations of the AIO 7000 can be upgraded, each with software assurance. The AIO 5000 is shown as unavailable at the reseller now, with last prices of $2,677 to $5,434, so treat it as an upgrade path and not a purchase.
One change behind the scenes: Bosch's video business moved to Triton on July 1, 2025 as Keenfinity Group, and the video unit is being renamed IQSIGHT. DIVAR IP and BVMS keep their names on current datasheets, but support articles now live in the Keenfinity Knowledge Base, and quotes may carry either name.
If alerts are the reason you are shopping
Plenty of sites price a new DIVAR IP because their current recorder floods them with motion alarms from shadows, headlights and rain. A new recorder does not fix that. BVMS shows the analytics a camera produces, so a Bosch camera with built in video analytics sends classified events, and an older or third party camera keeps sending raw motion. Replacing the recorder leaves those cameras exactly as noisy as they were.
MotionDetection works on the cameras you have. It reads the RTSP stream of each camera, the same stream your DIVAR IP or other recorder stores, labels every motion event as a person, vehicle, animal or nothing, and sends an alert with a cropped still to email, Slack or a webhook. Nothing is installed on the recorder. The Operate tier covers 15 cameras for $888 a year or $149 a month, with no hardware to buy, and every tier is on the video analytics software price page. Run one of your own clips through the demo at the top of this page to see the labels first.
Questions buyers ask
How much does a Bosch DIVAR IP cost?
At a US reseller in October 2026, a DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 costs $5,166 without drives to $9,542 with 2 x 18 TB, the all-in-one 6000 costs $8,240 to $14,957, and the all-in-one 7000 costs $15,208 to $43,465. Each records 8 cameras free. More cameras need a $311 license pack for 32 channels.
How many cameras can a DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 record?
Up to 32. Bosch lists the DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 at 32 channels, 250 Mbit/s and up to two 18 TB drives. It records 8 cameras with the included licenses. Cameras 9 to 32 are unlocked together by one MBV-BLIT-DIP Lite pack, $311 at a US reseller.
Does DIVAR IP come with BVMS licenses?
Yes, for 8 channels. Every DIVAR IP all-in-one ships with a free pre-licensed 8 channel BVMS package that activates on first boot. Past 8 channels you add MBV-BLIT-DIP on the AIO 4000 or MBV-BPLU-DIP on the AIO 6000 and 7000, each opening 32 channels, and Plus expansions past 32.
What is the difference between DIVAR IP all-in-one 4000 and 6000?
The AIO 4000 runs BVMS Lite licenses, records up to 32 cameras at 250 Mbit/s and holds two drives. The AIO 6000 runs BVMS Plus, records up to 64 cameras at 400 Mbit/s and holds four drives in a 1U chassis. At a US reseller the 6000 starts at $8,240 against $5,166 for the 4000.
Do I need SMA on a DIVAR IP?
Only to upgrade. Bosch says every DIVAR IP unit moving to a new BVMS version from 11.0 on needs valid software assurance. Without it the box keeps recording on its current version. SMA costs $112 a year for the Lite pack and $387 a year for the Plus pack at a US reseller.
